Crafting Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey with Colorado Spirit and Kentucky Heritage!
Batch House Distillery is a small-batch craft distillery located in Westminster, Colorado. Like many small-batch craft distilleries, our journey began with a passion to create and share a bold, researched, refined, quality bourbon whiskey.
We partnered with Whiskey Sisters Supply in Colorado for the finest locally-grown grains and cereals. We found a local barrel supplier. For the heart of our Single-barrel 4-year Bourbon whiskey, we turned to the undisputed champion state of traditional bourbon whiskey production: Kentucky.
Partnering with our Kentucky collaborators, we brought our unique 4-year bourbon whiskey recipe to life, utilizing Kentucky’s renowned limestone-enriched water, a key ingredient in crafting traditional bourbon whiskey. The distillate is aged in brand-new American oak barrels. The age range of this single barrel 4-year bourbon whiskey is 48-51 months. Each barrel emptied, proofed, and bottled independently of the next making ours a true non-blended, single-barrel 4-year bourbon whiskey.

From kentucky to colorado
At Batch House Distillery, we’re all about exceptional Colorado-crafted spirits. But for our Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey, we knew it had to be more. It had to be a perfect marriage of recipe and environment. That’s why we embarked on a journey to Kentucky, the undisputed king of bourbon.
Through meticulous research, Batch House discovered the ideal combination of grains and barrels to capture the essence of Kentucky bourbon whiskey. Our Single Barrel 4-year expression features a classic mash bill of 71% Corn, 19% Rye, and 10% Malted Barley, all carefully chosen for our unique flavor profile. Aged in Level 3 Char American Oak barrels, the already flavorful distillate develops a deep, rich character.
It’s then transported to our Colorado rick-house, where the unique high-altitude climate imparts its own subtle touch. This meticulous aging process results in a dark, bold Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey boasting tantalizing notes of cherry, oak, and vanilla.
